What you can do
Align actions with screen evidence
Keep mouse and keyboard events on the same clock as the recorded frames. Flow reads the session when it compiles the demonstrated steps.
Scope the recording to a window
Retain the selected application’s window context. RDP and Citrix recordings observe the remote interface through the client window’s pixels.
Pause capture for authentication
Use an authentication handoff when a login belongs in the task. Capture suppresses sensitive observations during the handoff and records the transition marker.
Control the exact recording session
Use the session control API to inspect status and stop recording. Finalization checks the retained events and database before reporting completion.
First steps
Record through Flow, or embed Capture.
Use Desktop or Flow when you want to record, compile, and run a workflow. Install Capture separately when you need its recording API. Check the recording guide for your OS permissions and session requirements.
