Execute: send a request, get one result back
Execute lets your application or AI agent send a request to an approved program and get one plain result back, with a receipt when the entry is Done and checked. The hosted connection is off. A one-computer version ships in the open-source engine, for pilots and for trying it on a laptop.

How it works
- Your system sends a request: the approved program, where to run it, and the values to enter.
- The program runs on the computer at the clinic or insurer; a person approves the save.
- Your system gets one result. A Done and checked entry also comes with a receipt that has no patient details.

Technical details
POST /v1/executions with openadapt.execute-request/v1; poll GET /v1/executions/{id}; read GET /v1/executions/{id}/receipt. Two known defects in the reference server are listed in the engineers' section of /partners: until they're fixed, treat failed_platform and halted_before_effect from it as reconciliation_required.
